De lamp heeft ingebouwde, weggewerkte zonnepanelen met praktische eigenschappen, waaronder schemer-tot-dagsensor (schakelt automatisch in als de zon ondergaat) en energiebesparende automatische uitschakeling na 6 uur. Op volle lading (8 uur in de zon) brandt de led lamp tot wel 20 uur op de oplaadbare batterijen.
De lampenkap is los te schroeven en de lamp kan worden schoongeveegd met een goed uitgewrongen, vochtige doek.
